We’ve built this membership to be clear, complete, and easy to understand. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions we receive about how the membership works, what’s included, and what to expect.
Membership Basics
What is a CPA membership?
It’s a flat-fee, all-inclusive monthly service that bundles bookkeeping, payroll, tax prep, reporting, and strategic CPA oversight into one relationship—no hourly billing, no separate vendors, no seasonal stress.
Who is this membership for?
We work with small businesses, S Corps, LLCs, and professional service firms across the U.S. Our members typically have 1–50 employees and want a true financial partner, not just a seasonal tax preparer.
Do you work with clients outside of Oklahoma?
Yes. While we’re based in Oklahoma and California, we serve clients nationwide with secure, virtual-first support.
Pricing & Billing
How much does the membership cost?
Pricing starts at $475/month and is based on your number of employees, service complexity, and reporting needs. See full pricing tiers here.
What’s included in the monthly fee?
Bookkeeping, prepared financials, payroll, tax prep (business + personal), reporting, strategy calls, and portal-based support—no hourly billing, no per-run fees, no surprise invoices.
Are there setup or onboarding fees?
If you’re caught up and ready to go, there are no onboarding fees. If cleanup or backwork is needed, we’ll quote that separately before membership starts.
Is there a long-term commitment?
We ask for an initial 12-month commitment so we can deliver long-term results. After that, you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
What’s Included in the Membership
Is tax prep included?
Yes. We prepare and file your federal and state tax returns for the business and the owner (if applicable)—at no extra cost.
Do you include personal tax returns for the owner?
Yes. If you’re an owner-operator and your business is part of the engagement, we include your 1040 as part of the bundle.
Do you prepare financial statements?
Yes. You’ll receive monthly prepared financial statements—CPA-prepared and delivered by the 25th of the following month.
Do you include advisory or CFO-level guidance?
Yes. Every member gets quarterly CPA strategy calls. Higher-tier members may also receive forecasting, budgeting, or entity planning support.
Payroll & Compliance
Is payroll included?
Yes. Payroll is included with every membership. There are no per-run fees. We handle direct deposit, W-2s, 1099s, and all quarterly/annual filings.
What platforms do you use for payroll?
We run payroll through iSolved and Payroll Vault. Both are secure, compliance-ready platforms that integrate with our CPA systems.
Do you handle multi-state payroll?
Yes. We support remote and multi-state businesses and manage filings for each jurisdiction as needed.
Can you help me switch from my current payroll provider?
Yes. We handle the transition, data migration, and first run setup. Most transitions take 10–14 business days.
Portal, Support & Technology
How do I communicate with my CPA?
All communication happens through our secure client portal. You can send questions, upload documents, and track deliverables in one place.
Do I get unlimited support?
Yes—with boundaries. You’re not billed hourly, and you can reach out any time through the portal. We just ask that you batch routine questions to keep things focused and efficient.
When are reports delivered?
Monthly reporting packages are prepared and delivered by the 25th of the following month.
Do I need QuickBooks?
We support QuickBooks Online (and some QBD users). If you’re not currently set up, we’ll help configure your books properly as part of onboarding.
Terms, Add-Ons & Cancellation
Can I cancel if it’s not working out?
After the initial 12-month commitment, yes. Just give us 30 days’ written notice and we’ll help transition your files.
Do you offer à la carte services?
No. Everything we do is structured through the membership. We don’t offer one-time tax prep or project-based accounting.
Do you offer sales tax filings or AP/AR?
We can support sales tax and AP/AR for higher-tier clients, depending on volume and system fit. We’ll review that during the application process.
What if I’m behind on my books?
We’ll quote backwork separately based on your starting point. Once we’re caught up, your monthly membership begins.
